It’s Sunday evening, March 29th. Futures are crashing well below the 50-week moving average as oil explodes even higher above $100. Yet our Discord community is not only calm, cool, and collected – we are smiling.
As of the close Friday, we are up 53.72% YTD in our official Discord trade account, and our longs are fully hedged for any scenario tomorrow. This builds on our +667% return in 2025 and +17,425% return since Discord inception.

We’re crushing it this year, and like usual, we were able to predict the market crash before it happened—one of our many talents.
In our first blog post, we touched on the StoryTrading methodology, and we’ll delve deeper into that in future posts. For today however, I’m going to focus on how we saved our Discord members a collective millions of dollars – perhaps even tens of millions – and how we’ve positioned our members to rocket to new all-time highs in the midst of a market crash.
First, you should know a little about me. I’ve made millions, lost millions, and then made many more millions than before. After a few trips around the rodeo, I’ve learned how to beat markets and keep the gains. Now, I’ve made it a top priority in our community to pass on the key lessons I’ve learned so you can fast-track your way to success.
Our Discord community isn’t just about trade alerts. It’s about passing on decades of experience to help you build and keep wealth. To that end, everything we do is designed to teach our members how to understand and navigate markets. From the macro discussion in our daily morning note, to countless daily live streams, to private blogs in our Discord, to our VIP chat rooms, there is one thread that ties it all together: Wisdom.
✅ Wisdom in how to preserve capital.
✅ Wisdom in how to manage risk.
✅ Wisdom in how to deal with market adversity.
✅ Wisdom in how to handle the psychological aspects of trading.
We put it all out there – fully transparent with our wins, our losses, and the lessons we’ve learned. There are many lessons to learn, but let’s focus on the ones most relevant to the current market crash.
Lesson #1: Limiting Drawdowns
The key to superior returns—and ultimately building wealth above your peers—is limiting drawdowns during market pullbacks. This is, bar none, the most important concept in wealth creation, and much of our content is geared toward this.
How do you limit drawdowns? There are many techniques we consistently emphasize in our Discord. The most relevant to this crash are:
- The Art of the Pivot
- Throw Away Your Ego
- Historical Patterns Repeat
- Shorting the Market (or going all cash)
Lesson #2: The Art of the Pivot
One of the biggest advantages of our daily market note is that we stay on top of the latest catalysts. With decades of experience, we can recognize inflection points that can change the direction of a stock—or the entire market.
But here’s the key: if you’ve committed to a thesis, you must be able to change your mind instantly. This is one of the biggest secrets to keeping your gains. You can’t be stubborn. When the facts change, your thesis must change. We help you do that.
Lesson #3: Throw Away Your Ego
When facts change, pivoting is hard—because we don’t want to be wrong. But this game isn’t about being right. It’s about making money.
Every day, we lead by example—taking quick losses when the thesis changes. We don’t care about being right. We care about making money. And we help you adopt that same mindset.
Lesson #4: Historical Patterns Repeat
People always think this time is different. They become blindly optimistic and believe past crashes won’t repeat.
We remind you that human nature hasn’t changed in thousands of years—and won’t change for the next thousand years. Human psychology is constant. Trader behavior is constant. Whether it’s 1900, 2000, 2025, or 2125, people react the same way to fear, hope, and uncertainty.
That behavior shows up in charts.
We saw how markets reacted during COVID and Liberation Day. So when oil sustained above $100, we recognized it as another Black Swan event. That was the foundation of our call over the last three weeks—that QQQ and SPY would break below the 50-week moving average.
We were early. The rest of the market only reacted on Friday.
We help you understand that patterns repeat—and psychology never changes.
